Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation raises vital funds for childhood cancer programs and charities by conducting high quality, memorable, physically challenging events encouraging active and healthy lifestyles. These events engage sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers. We are a national foundation with community-level engagement.
Our vision is a world beyond kids cancer. As Canada’s leading national charity devoted to fighting childhood cancer, Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation ensures funding is invested to improve the survival rate and quality of life of children and their families impacted by cancer. Through our knowledgeable and experienced granting committee, we ensure every dollar has maximum impact in the areas of highest need for tangible results in the fight against childhood, youth and young adult cancers.
Based in the GTA Mackenzie is currently working as a Registered Nurse in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at The Hospital for Sick Children and is currently working on her Masters in Health Informatics at the University of Toronto. She has been involved with Coast to Coast since participating in the Inside Ride when in highschool and started to medic CTCACF events once obtaining her nursing licence. She is passionate about the success of YPACC and engaging young professionals in developing a philanthropic mindset in the GTA. In her spare time she likes to be outside whether that’s hiking, skiing, camping, running or traveling.
Kealey is a Registered Nurse in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Kealey has been involved with Coast to Coast for over 10 years, volunteering at many of the foundation’s signature events in a variety of roles. Kealey is working towards a Masters of Science in Healthcare Quality through Queen’s University. She is thrilled to be a part of the founding committee of YPACC and is looking forward to see our goals come to fruition. Kealey enjoys volunteering at camp, skiing, reading and traveling!
Skylar is a Chartered Professional Accountant working at KPMG in Toronto. Skylar has volunteered with Coast to Coast since he was 10 years old including Inside Rides, Tour for Kids, National Rides and more. As part of his university experience, he was fortunate enough to co-found a childhood cancer club that helped to create a community of passionate volunteers. The opportunity to be apart of the founding committee and have the opportunity to develop a community of young professionals fundraising for childhood cancer awareness and initiatives is an extremely exciting opportunity. Outside of volunteering, he spends his spare time travelling, cycling, collecting vinyl and spending time with friends and family.
Jenn is the Head of Indirect Procurement for adidas Canada in Toronto. Jenn has volunteered with Coast to Coast to support various signature events, including 4 National Rides, Tour for Kids and Inside Rides, including organizing one that raised over $46,000+. Jenn has her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo and her Masters from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply in the UK. She is excited to be apart of initial team to build and support YPACC to expand the impact Coast to Coast can offer within our community and improving the lives of those children living with and beyond cancer. Outside of volunteering she spends her time traveling, cycling/running, horseback riding and spending time at the cottage with family and friends.
Jamie works in Partnerships & Experiential Marketing at Toyota Canada Inc. She is a Western University graduate and has also completed a postgraduate degree in Sport & Event Marketing. Jamie has been involved with many not-for-profits in various roles including event planning, fundraising, and event volunteering. She is thrilled to be working alongside other young professionals to grow YPACC. Jamie has a passion for traveling and enjoys listening to country music, hiking, skiing, swimming, and spending time with friends and family.
Matt works in management consulting at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton in Ottawa. He is a University of Ottawa graduate with a specialization in accounting and is currently in pursuit of the Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Matt is excited to have the opportunity to expand his experience with non-profit organizations and looks forward to working with other young professionals at YPACC. In his spare time, Matt enjoys participating in intramural sports, travelling and cooking new dishes with his girlfriend.
Stefan is a civil engineering graduate turned outdoor adventurer with a passion for sustainability and climate justice. Constantly searching for the next opportunity to explore and grow whether it’s a multi-day tramp in the mountains, surfing along the coast or using my voice to inspire others to make the world a better place. Having grown up at YMCA Camp Pine Crest, he believes every child should have the opportunity to go to camp and enjoy being a kid. This mentality led to his involvement with nonprofit organizations in university where he fundraised to send kids with cancer to camp and ultimately connected him to YPACC.
Jonathan works as a civil consultant for Belanger Engineering and looking to attain his Professional Engineering License. He is a recent graduate from Western University, where he organized the school’s first Inside Ride event with Coast to Coast. Jonathan is excited in this opportunity to work with other young professionals and organize exciting events for great causes. He enjoys being active, hanging out, and playing sports with friends and family.
Jayme is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte focusing on HR Transformations. Her passion for charity work first began in grade 10, when she became involved with organizing Coast to Coast Inside Ride’s for her high school. This passion grew as she co-founded and chaired a committee focused on raising money and awareness for childhood cancer in University. She is incredibly excited to continue her journey with the CTCACF, by showcasing her love for event planning and working with an amazing group of young professionals to make a positive impact.
